have a 07 G35C and i recently saw this pic of a G35C with black tinted taillights and im wondering if anyone knows where in Mississauga where it could be done...i really like it and mine is a black coupe too...any ideas for those who lives in Toronto?? thnx!!

 

I need help installing my overlays too! Im in Tulsa, OK! Help!

 

I'm pretty sure you just order them from bluebatmobile. he frequents g35driver, but just shoot him an email and tell him which ones you want. installation should be pretty straight forward too, just with a credit card or squeegee or something like that & soapy water?.

 

Do not attempt this mod urself unless you have alot of experience tinting windows. You will have a ****eloaad of bubbles and it will look hoorible. Just
buy the overlays and your local tint guy will prob charge you 40 -50 bucks for labor trust me it be worth the extra $$$.

 

Not true for everyone, some people have installed these for the first time with no issues at all .

Isnt it just the soap/water & squeegee method? Like applying decals? Should be cake.

 

I wouldnt go that far by any means. In order for them to conform to the curves and everything you have to get them as close as you can with the soap and water, then use a blow dryer and shrink them around the loose spots. I had a helluva time with mine!

 

Yeah installing those things are a pain in the butt. I had to take mine to three different places before I could find somebody that would install them.

 

not true.. ive never done any sort of tinting and i was able to put the overlays on (after my second try)..

 

including me and hey, thats a pic of my car up there...lol

 

get it painted it looks much better imo.

I am not a fan of the paint on the lights, takes away from those beautiful leds and lenses during the day, that's just imo though.
