I have a SP replica grill and personally think the bar in the middle kinda ruins the grill. Anyone ever remove it?? If so problems??

 

the early sp grilles did not even have this bar and they were fine (judging from the one i saw in person). supposedly it is a support bar since the bottom has no tabs to hold it down.

 

Mine is painted black, it's not really noticeable.

 

i believe that bar is in there for support..

earlyer sp grills did not have the bar.. then there were many complaints of paint cracking.. so they added the bar..

I was workin on the car today and decide to take a good look at the grill. the support bar really doesn't seem to do that much, i removed it(half expecting the thing to fall apart haha) and the grill still seemed quite durable and definetly looks 100 times better.

PS this is my second SP grill and the fitment is decent but my previous one fit like garbage so they sent me this one for free($40 shipping) definetly wouldn't recomend silviaparts but Klumzyees looks pretty good... If i have any problems thats probably what im goin for next
