First, i have to say 06 Spoiler for the win!

And about DRG35R's comment, not sure if I agree with this at all.

I doubt the "added weight" is going to affect the car at all.

In my opinion, a G35 looks awkward without the spoiler. Almost in a bad manner.

And I also wouldnt go as far to compare the spoiler of the G35 to the spoilers of the Supra/Evo/STi/. While the 03-05 spoilers look a bit out there, the 06 Spoiler looks classy yet gives it that extra aggresiveness in the rear.

IMO, the 06 spoiler completes the look of the G35.

But hey, "to each their own".

normally i don't like spoilers on anything unless its a high end vehicle where it serves a purpose (like porsches, lambos, ferraris, etc.)

but the G definitely looks better with one. it adds to the aggressiveness and the nice *** lines of the ride. just my 2 cents

 

Agreed. 03-05 spoiler looks like a snowboard attached to the truck. 06 is okay. I am 40 years old and have grown out of the spoiler and other body cladding look. I like my cars with clean, uninterrupted lines. The only thing I would consider is the M3 style lip spoiler. The only extra I have on my car's body right now is the OEM chin spoiler. I will be adding INGS sides because those are very clean. I think I will leave the rear section alone because I like the way the FUJI tips are exposed. Spoilers are not for everyone. I had one on my early 03 sedan and it was okay, but it would have looked cleaner without it. To each his own.

 

I don't like the spoiler for the 03-05. The new 06 look OK to me just because it doesn't seem to take too much away from the lines for the car. When it comes to body work and spoilers I enjoy more subtle appearances personally

 

I never realized prior to this thread that the 06 spoiler was different than the 03-05. Could someone post up a side by side of the two? Oh yea i heart my snowboard/ironing board/spoiler! haha
