Gas door ?

Got a quick question, pulled up to get gas and the gas door did not want to open. I used the emergency latch to ope it but it's still not working after trying to play around with it. I can not seem to find a fuse for it. Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the gas tank locking mechanism?

thx

did u open it from inside ur trunk by pull the carpet back a tad and pulled the plastic lock mecinisum, if so i had same promel, i had to leave gas station and felt like a idiot, so i took my car back home and took carpet off that side and pushed the platic locking piece back in snug and it worked fine since

note this happened on my sedna not mu coupe

hopfully it will work agn for you

try changing your door lock fuse, its tied into yout factory door locks if you didnt already know, so when you lock your car your gas door locks and when you unlock all doors the gas door will unlock

I tried to put the plactic piece back to it's normal config. but it still will not open when I lock and unlock the doors. I called the dealer and they told me that the gas door does not have a fuse to go with it. It's kind of anoying to have it open the whole time.
