I have seen the painted grills here on driver and they are beautiful. Can those of you who have painted their stock grills black tell me what type of paints they used?

i just used dupli-color spray can

 

i removed the center infinit emblem and scuffed the whole grill so nothing was shiny with a scuff pad and had a body shop paint mine with spies hecker paint =0)

 

I JUST painted mine with the dupli color method. Took all of 10 minutes and am very pleased with the results. I scuffed it with 320, then 400, then 600, primed then painted. Its so hot out today that I was able to put the grill back on the car within 2 minutes of painting and I re-inserted the emblem at the same time.


The easiest/cheapest mod Ive done so far and it gave me the most bang for my buck. ANYONE can do this!
