Anyone Paint-match Lakeshore Slate???
Hey guys, I am having a terrible time paint matching my lakeshore slate 2005 coupe.
I'm doing the painting myself (semi-experienced) and my PPG supplier can't get it right. The PPG factory replacement paint isn't even close, so I had the shop do a match and have been tinting it ever since. I have painted sample after sample and have been back for tinting ten times.
The color will match from one angle and be completly different from another.
To be honest, I am wearing out and am ready to drive my car, can someone share some experience with this color?

I had the same problem when I had my car painted. It is just a little off. I can tell because I look at it all the time but I asked other people and they said they could not tell teh difference. Make sure you take it to someone that is good at doing the color fade. Because I had mine less then a year when I started the painting it was not too bad.
