Vinyl Overlays

What do you guys think about Black Vinyl Overlays on a Black G35? I was thinking about doing this but wanted some opinions as I am having trouble making up my mind. Thanks for your input!!!

I attached pictures of what I am talking about exactly.

imo, painting headlights looks a lot cleaner...but overlays are the next best thing if you don't want to.

i think theyre hot on black cars..

+1, overlays IMO only works on black cars, painted headlights work on any car.

Is it too much for me to try and paint the housing myself? What kind of paint do I need and how much of a pain in the a$$ will it be. I'm taking them apart anyway to put a set of Oracle angel eyes in.
