INGS Replica Owners Please Chime In!!

I purchased a set of Ings replica skirts and they do not fit whatsoever. In front of the rear wheels is the worst point... It doesnt follow the lines of the car at all. Anyone else have these problems???

I dont have any pics... the bodyshop spent 4 hrs today on only the left side and they were not able to rectify the fitment issues. It buldges out in front of the rear wheel and wont sit flush.... doesnt follow the body line behind the front wheel aswell.

I purchased them from Klumzyee. They are made of poly...

Klumzyee hasn't been selling them any more due to fitment issues.

poly is harder to fit unlike fiberglass expecially if its not fitting well. because the fiberglass can be re constructed unlike the poly which can't.

Klumzyee has been nothing but understanding with the matter.... he told me about the gap at the door and I said that it was fine. But it ended up being more than the door being off. $hit happens and Im not pointing fingers... it has already been resolved. Thanks Eric!

dang bro. I have my car in the bodyshop as we speak installing my ings sides from Eric & my Kuruma front from Gin. They are having a hell of a time with the front bumper not lining up.

I havent heard word with the sides yet. I hope all is well. Ive been on the phone all day with them with "fitment" issues.

btw, how are you planning on securing the sides where the oem clips used to be?

Fitment issues with a KurumaZ bumper?

I have never heard of an issue with a Kuruma bumper not fitting 99%..... Is it a knock off Kuruma? Did you get it from ConceptZ?

humm, i have never seen a kuruma z bumper fit perfectly where the bumper meets the fenders. there is always a slight gap.

as for the skirts...don't rely on tape man. bolt them on with the clips i told you about, and use the tape for the rear section (where the skirts meet the quarter panels).

the part is as good as the installer, the car is as good as the tech that assembled it..

that is that I've seen my TS urethane bumper installed O.O.. but when the owner takes it to us and we re-drilled the holes the bumper fits 100%...

edit also dont use doubleside tape for the skirts cause it'll push it out!

you want to use automotive bodypanel adhesive for the section under the qtr panel and fender then make small square metal 1-2" plates and put them over the oem holes and how line up your sides to see where to make your holes in the sides skirts after doing that slap the sides back on and then mark the metal brakets you put over the oem holes and dremel them out tot he side of a medium size rivit and rivit them on for best results IMO

This is what i have done for my Full Impul Kit and i worked them to basicly oem fitment

+1 for Eric being a great guy, i have purchased many kits off hhim for my team and he has been nothing but helpful about it

Joe
