3M clearbra-How long to wait after repaint?

I'm getting my front bumper overhauled and repaintes bc of some recent scrapes. Do I need to let the paint "cure" before I put It on? How long? What do u guys think of the 3M clearbra?

i'd wait at least a month to let the paint fully cure. the body shops that i've used before don't even recommend applying wax/polish/sealants for 2-4 weeks because the paint needs to cure/breathe.

i believe 3m has a guarantee that their bras won't yellow. if it does, you can take it back and get it redone for free.

2-4 weeks seems reasonable. I wonder if the llumar kits are better than the 3m kits...

I work at a tinting shop, 3M is better, warranty is for 5 years against yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling, delaminating.

We reccomend 60 days. We have heard of people getting it done sooner, and then weeks later you saw defects in the paint from it curing and such.
