Thread resurrection:

Thinking of doing this to help dissipate heat.

The 350Z ones were placed near the front of the engine compartments.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do it towards the rear?

Thanks

Hey Scootch, I'm passing by and I know this is very old but the hood you fabricated looks like something I'm interested in. There is an upper plenum that Merlin Machining makes and it won't fit under the oem hood without cutting a hole in it. This may work. Any details on how you fabricated the hood from the 350 Z to make it work on the G35 coupe? Any info is much appreciated. 🙂
