i've had eric's replica impul side skirts for a few months now and i knew this was bound to happen...

i went off a curb and chipped a good 1.5" by 1.5" gash off the passenger side skirt, right next to the front wheel. i could see the "white flesh" and some chards of fiberglass.

just wondering if i don't get this fixed, what are the down-sides?
besides it looking horrible, can more fiberglass fly off?
or can mold develop?

 

it can be fixed and will look like new if taken to a proper body shop =0) if you just have then paint your side skirt only "panel shoot" should be a cheap fix, but if you decide to go with blends meaning blending the paint in the adjacent panels it will be a longer wait and a bit more money

but like i said it can definitely be fixed and look like new without any problems, thats the good thing abt fiberglass "ou can rebuilt/customize it"

well from stress the crack will most likly grow just like a windshield crack "over time of course, but no telling how long" i suggest fixing it and calling it a day or just wait until it gets worse and go from there

its a personal preference honestly

If you don't fix it then the global warming will come sooner then we think
