The black logos from the OP pic looks good, but I really like that black chrome. I just wish the actual 'infinity' and 'g35' were black chrome as well (at least in the pic from infiniti-parts.com they look like what comes from the factory).

I may have to do this as my first mod if I don't rebadge as a skyline...everytime I think about it I just think i'll regret it.

all the emblems/letters where black chrome right? because in the pic from infiniti-parts only the emblem looks black chrome

FYI: Real black chroming of emblems is not a cheap process in it self, unless your doing a run of 1000's of emblems. Thats why it costs a lot.
Will last longer than paint, but can see the cost factor being a deterrent.
I payed about $50 per set for my blk chrome JDM badges from a member here, which he sold out awhile ago with no future blk chrome runs planned.

for those wondering about the letters i will say, i don't think the lettering is as glossy as the mt. fuji BUT it's definately darker than stock...i even thought about spraying a coat of clear, but unless you are 2" from them it's really unnoticeable...pics don't do the emblems justice but here's a few for comparison

talk to Cody at infiniti-parts, he may still let you send in your emblems to be chromed as opposed to purchasing a new set.
