What does being in Japan have to do with it, it's the same car (except very minor options/etc but that's irrelevant) He shouldn't put Skyline on his car because we are in a diff location?.. Oh yeah and if that's your car in the avatar, it looks you have JDM corners..

I'd keep it the way it is or debadge it...Not a big fan of the rebadging

 

If do change the emblems make sure you change the front and the rears. Your car will stand out a little...people will start to think "wow..I've never seen a skyline before....that's so cool. Mom, take a picture."
Only reason I haven't done mines is b/c I know if I do it, I'm going to get the modding bug and within a couple of months, the car is going to be turbocharged with a full kit, interior, blah blah blah blah.

Saw some member long time ago have Infiniti section of his seats replaced with a custom embroidered Nissan logo with Skyline word under it.
It looked really nice. Cost for that

JMO i think its stupid....plus the infiniti sign is sooooooooooo much better looking than a dumb hamburger, and the word INFINITI sounds way better then NISSAN

I just pulled everything off the back except the Mt. Fugi on mine. Looks nice and clean and it matches the front and the interior as well. Big + is that it's easier to clean/wax without all that crap on the trunk.....

 

It's not clear corners vs jdm badges. It's a matter of what is JDM, and you have JDM corners(right?) regardless of how small you think it is. So it kind of takes away your right to say "we're not in japan" And I never said they made Infiniti Skylines in the US, when did I say that?

But I do agree with you on the Infiniti logo/name > Nissan's.. which is why I suggested after debadging to just put Skyline only.. have a real clean look. If you think Infiniti sounds cooler than Nissan, I think Skyline sounds cooler than both But yeah I would never put a nissan badge on my car

 

to me, our cars arent ''g35's'' they are skylines. so doesnt that mean that the car is already ''rebadged'' right off the bat???? i say skyline it out, nissan logo on the grill and all.

and no offense but most people who rebadge their cars skylines want to be mad jdm tyte yo, same with acura and honda and lexus and toyota, people are sooooo obsessed with jdm nowadays, its so played out, theres nothing wrong with putting jdm parts on it if it looks/performs better, but when people go ape shiiit on parts just cause its "JDM", its dumb, import a RHD nissan skyline 350gt from japan, and you dont have to worry about changing anything

They do... just like here, there is a lot of people that do the USDM conversion and go all out Infiniti in Japan It's great!
