I have an 03 Coupe. The headlights are getting this yellowish tint to them. So Im not sure if there is away to clean them or I just have to buy new ones to get rid of that tint.

Also, if Im not mistaken the 06-07 headlights look different then my 03, so if i do get a pair off of ebay is compatible with my 03 and with my current Xenon bulb and ballast?

I understand the 03-04 didn't have the projection in the headlights, so with the 06-07 upgrade am I going to see a big difference in lighting?

the 06-07 have projectors and no clearence strip yes you can get them off ebay and its plug and play. they will work with you old ballast but the bulbs are different.

you wont see a huge difference because the 03-05 were still HID lights but it will be brighter and a nice cutoff line

 

I have a moc kit if you want to buy it its around $25 + shipping to you and it'll clear up the lights.. you'll need to wet sand the yellow off first and they provide you with some polish and.. looks like resin? and u put a coat of that over and yeah anyways instructions are included and I can get them for you if your interested.. we did it on a friend's old school E-Class and it cleared right up.. I'm planning to do it to my 98 suburban as well

99.9999% of the ones sold on ebay are actually recall ones that people at some naughty dealers employee's take and put on ebay and sell at a profit...

I have an '03 with '06 headlights. I'm pretty sure mine were recalled lights. I aimed them properly, and they work excellent. The lighting with the projectors is, IMO, far superior than the reflectors. Your old ballasts will work just fine. As far as the look goes, again, IMO the new lights look better.
