vinyl eyelids compared to FG or urethane?

The dual layer looks the same. The "second" layer is simply a black vinyl under the colored vinyl. This prevents the headlights from shining through the eyelids.

Gloss black eyelids will look terrible on any color car other than black. Even if you have a c/f hood, it will look horrific. Painting the grille gloss black will not justify gloss black eyelids. Trust me.

Ok cool, I appreciate the insight. I just saw these, although they are CF they look black from a distance, and thought they looked pretty slick:


I'll probably go with the dual layer in white I guess.

Well, it's 100% subjective. So do whatever makes you happy. But in my eyes, the purpose of eyelids is to extend the lines of the hood into the headlights for that aggressive look. Black eyelids with a non-black hood just doesn't flow IMO.

not saying it looks ghay or anything, but i dont like vinyl eyelids.. looks cheap.

o rly, its still random to see a coupe without the sunroof! I know you said it pretty rare to find one like that, did you have to special order it like that. I heard it gives you an extra couple of inchs of headroom...Im glad im 5 10" and dont have to worry like the yoa mings on the G world.

I just got mine last night I will be posting pics in the GB thread. They look great against the cf ts hood
