anyone install just the Kenstyle rear bumper??

I need to replace my rear bumper. had a mishap. I love the look of the kenstyle rear, but i'm not sure i want a body kit all the way around because i live in the indiana country where there is snow and offroading. My car is already lowered on Tein H techs 350z and i still want to be able to drive my car.

has anyone seen a coupe with just the rear kenstyle on it? would it look stupid by itself or not bad?

if it'll look stupid, where can i find a replica kit that isn't too expensive? i'm not about to pay 2700$ for some urethane that is going to get scraped up on my car.

I think it'll look a bit out of place unless you have rims and some other aesthetic mods. Otherwise it will look way too aggressive. And I personally hate the look of KS rear if you have a spoiler; it makes the back look really busy.

As far as reps go, Klumyzee sells replicas here and from what I hear he has a good return policy if your parts don't fit.

It's WAY to aggressive for an otherwise stock body...

Definitely not a bumper I would consider if I were to keep the rest of the bodywork stock.

IMO, the stock rear is one of the best bumpers available.

ic.

ya, i have 18x10 black touge rims and it's lowered on 350z h techs which is why i'm not really hot for a whole body kit.

i thought it would look out of place too, but i also think that running a front end looks out of place without a full kit also, but people do it all the time.

theres one ive seen around where i live. in my opinion doesnt look right. it looks ok, but at same time it looks as if its not complete. Although, he doesnt have the splash guards...so maybe that would make a difference and would look better.

eh, i just looked at it. it looks like a stock with a molded lip on the bottom....i don't really like that. i actually completely hate the look of a lip...it should be a complete or nothing. i think it screws up the lines of the car.

Just go with stock bumper again. It really is the best.

KS = too aggressive
Impul = looks like a saggy butt
INGS = just straight ugly it's like you have two bumpers stacked onto eachother

I would just go stock bumper with a black valence overlay. IMO looks the best by far. Infiniti had it absolutely right with the rear of the G35, I wouldn't mess with it.

that's what i'm thinking as i look at it.

i really would like a kenstyle full kit, but i still want to be able to drive my car here in indiana with these bad roads....and, it's just a car so it's hard to justify spending 2 grand on a full body kit plus paint. i don't really want it that bad.

Go OEM bumper with OEM splashguards and Nismo diffuser for a more aggressive aftermarket look that works with OEM front/sides

I'd just go for the rear valence overlay; the Nismo diffuser is hardly noticeable and a lot more money. Unless he just has money laying around, in that case go for it.
