Exclamation Mounted a neighbourhood enterance.... the damage report.

Not the best of conditions mentally and it was snowing here in OK, mounted a curb and cracked my front bumper, i took it to the dealership today they said i needed a new Bumper cover, Energy absorber, Bumper cover mount bracket, fender liner front and rear, coming to $452.43 which i thought was a pretty good bargain, then they add the infiniti paint match/labour for to make it 838.83.... still not too bad, i was def expecting more. i salvaged the little lower bumper grill that they said they could use!

My question is they have me down for a g35x bumper which has the extra vent, that i like, will that fit??? bc i would not mind having it on or should i point that out to them??

sounds like a pretty good dealership, from what you described i would have expected them to rob you a lil harder

that was an initial estimate, im sure when i actually take it in there they'll add things, but under $900 for that was surprisingly good for a dealership price, another issue is my car drives dead straight BUT the steering wheel is about 20 degrees to the right?? maybe just alignment

I can't see why you would need new fender liners. Certainly the rear looks completely untouched. The forward one might be a little scratched on the bottom, but you're not going to be able to see it unless you lie down. Just MHO.

I got quoted 800+ for just the rear bumper cover color match. yah unless you tore out the liner or riped it should be reusable. also the shock absorber might be fine, the said mine 'needed' to be replaced, it was fine, but I don't know how far down it goes, never checked but atleast its cheap.
