I dunno...depends on your specific exhaust, I guess. No clearance issues with my Invidia G200. It has thin single-wall tips, which prob helps.

No, I got rid of that POS awhile back. This one is a fiberglass RavSpec unit.

black diffuser would really set off the cars color and show some contrast

I have my nismo diffuser color matched also. On my HKS exhaust I had to take it to a welding shop to extend the hangers so the tips wouldn't melt the diffuser.
I dont know if you noticed it when you saw my car at street image.

I ended up melting part of mine. You can't see it so it doesn't bother me.

HKS is the only one I've heard of anyone having problems with. Fit just fine with my Invidia, as I'm sure it would with oem, Nismo, Tanabe, Greddy SP2, Apex'i, and Stillen. I could see potential problems with the Greddy Evo though, since it has enormous tips.

I'm not sure. I don't have much more work that needs to be done on the car either. I haven't had any problems with anything they installed there (clutch/flywheel, spacer, coilovers). Theres not much more that I'm going to do to it unless its FI and I'd probably have that installed by the same shop who will tune it. Right now its the only shop I have to go to unless someone else here can recommend a place in the Pasadena area that can be trusted.

Authentic NISMO...hence the slight gap in fitment.

Thanks for the pic. Mine actually kind of looks like that on one side. Is the Nismo piece FG too? I wonder if this is actually an authentic one. Do the Ravspec and KurumaZ versions fit that much better?
