so i just got my 06 tails from infiniti-parts.com and they came with no button. is this how everyone else got theres? mine is an 04, i havent found a thread where someone got the button to work. i imagine those is just going to leave an empty hole in the tail light. can anyone thing of a red filler so that it blends?

 

wow even though the button doesnt work i would at least just leave it there instead of having a hole.. surprised it doesnt come with the button.

the button will be non-operational on your car but it should've been there

 

there should be a trunk release wire attached with wire harness but youes didnt come with a button then wtf? weird bro, sorry

 

call infiniti-parts... they should have come with a button...

 

You jsut paid for the housings... I hope you did not pay too much for them...

The button is about $35... IMHO The savings of changing the bulbs / harness and adding the button is not worth the savings over purchasing the complete assemblies.

I noticed this last night with a seller on ebay... They were selling the HOUSINGS for the price I sell the complete assemblies for...

yep that was me, doesnt say button isnt included, so im gonna get that from them, man, how do i replace the bulbs and harness? they did feel a little light

 

Thats the auction I saw! on the right it says PART NUMBERS INCLUDED ant it lists the RIGHT & LEFT part numbers for the HOUSINGS ONLY.

Good news is I have the buttons instock...

Bad news, the price could have been a little better...

The button is only on the drivers side?
