Why would there be two buttons for the same trunk release?

 

he meant from the front and back i think, but you already know wht it looks like fromt the front

It's only two wire. So its a push button switch. Does anyone have the schematic for the 06 taillights or push button switch.

So this is the only that stop the 06 lights from working on 03-05 coupes ???

 

I do not beleive there is a harness going out to that button on the 03-05... Something would have to be wired up to the main trunk release switch in the dash I would think...

I know its been done before, not sure what they did though :-/

1 = Housings alone
2 = Housings w/ trunk button
3 = complete assemblies (includes all bulbs and harness and trunk button, ready to plug and play)
