Rear ended this morning....

just got rear ended in the first day of rain this week...
accident isn't too bad but there are paint marks that have totally came off.

did a search on how much the repair costs but couldn't find one w/just the bumper by itself.

how much would a new bumper cost w/labor?

the girl has insurance but wants to pay me in cash.

Is your bumper repairable? You only mention the condition of the paint. What about the bumper itself? What condition is that in?

PM Tony/Jason@riversideinfiniti for a price on a new rear bumper if you need it.

Bumper has vertical scratch marks all along and paint is completely scratched off on some scratches.
No dents or anything.
Don't want to get this mickey moused and let the shop TRY to match a part of my bumper to the rest.
Just want to ask for a new bumper or go thru insurance as a last resort.

it probably would be cheaper to pay the deductable instead of buying a new bumper and repainting it (300 new bumper + 300 paint vs 500 deductable).

my passenger tail light isn't in line w/my trunk. probably about 5mm off. it's the section where i saw the paint scratched off.

YEAH CHEAPER RIGHT NOW, THAT $500 DEDUCTIBLE WILL MAKE HER PREMIUM GO UP FOR 3 YEARS, IN THE LONG RUN IT PROB WON'T BE CHEAPER FOR HER.

gO GET A QUOTE FROM A BODY SHOP, YOU'LL GET THE BEST QUOTE THERE. ESPECIALLY IF ITS NOT JUST YOUR BUMPER THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!

luckly the bumper cover is only 200 bucks, as long as you didnt damage your impact bar, brackets, or clips you can just have it fixed...if the damage is more than 5 inches long you might be able to see the repair if they dont do it well...you are better off spending 150 bucks more and just get a new one painted

Get estimates from about 3 shops and give her the highest one. Get cash from her.
