you can put in the aluminum brace but it is still in a hallow door... you need a cage buddy... you could even go with an aluminum cage but you must do heavy engineering work... chromoly for the win

What a waste of time and money. I'd rather live than have carbon door skins. What is the purpose, so your car is .001 faster in the quarter mile? Are you a professional race car driver? Lol.

no clown im not a prof. race car driver...and what do you drive a 02 kia rio..i happen to like carbon fiber, and it is also said that CF is stronger than many metals...and the CF is more for apperance rather than the .001 you claim i would get in the quarter...if you dont like the thread...DONT READ IT!!!!!

CF is stronger than many metals...IF it was dry carbon. Not a fiberglass core with CF cloth and resin over it. Essentially you have a fiberglass door with CF pattern over it.

+1, wet laid CF is NOT stronger than metal, have you ever seen how much a CF hood wobbles at speed or when propped open?

thats a good point..it does wobble at high speeds..but this vehicle is not an everyday driver its more for show...dont get me wrong its procharged and intercooled so i like the power when i need it ...but it doesnt get out much unless its nice out!

dont know about full race car, but maybe in time its a possiblity, right now i just enjoy being the only boosted g35 in the louisville area, and in a few years...maybe build the motor into something more!
