SMALL project..."buzzer"..wrong again

well i ordered some CF doors last week...finally got them and now i realize what a large project this is going to be...switching over all the inside skins,power windows,locks,and other goodies, not to mention making sure the doors dont leak after they are in...lol safe to say this is actually one of the larger projects on the car...sounded easy...well ill post some pics once they're on..but ill tell you one thing..having 16lb doors kind of make me uneasy driving 140+mph..lol

nope no cage...but it an idea...any idea how much a cage weights?..what about putting an aluminum brace of some sort in before putting on the interior skins?

you need a cage for those doors. Aluminum i don't think is strong enough for a side impact. any pics of the skins?

your insurance company wont like you very much...

your car wont be considered safe for on-highway use...

you are opening up a huge can of worms...

ive been told the doors will weight about 45 lbs lighter each...so id say total weight is about..70 lbs each?..the insurance company...what they dont know wont hurt em i guess..lol...ive been trying to find a bolt in roll cage,the not using the bolts...possibly welding it in...ive been told this method is cheaper...but i dont know much about them, jason you seem to know a thing or two...any ideas...keep in mind limited funds...lol
