Well I have removed my center console after searching the forums enough; but I have a new problem. When I try to shift gears my upshifts are cut short; but my downshifts are fine. Logic would conclude it is the shift trim plate; but I have tried moving it; but it always "snaps" back to the same plate.

I reinstall the center console by putting the front in first; than the rear clips. Can anyone explain how to reinstall/install the center console? I just shifted car into N; removed shiftboot; and lift it up from the back. But when I reinstall it; it isn't flush anymore with the armrest storage; like it is sitting on something. I have cleared everything up; but same results.
