Thanks everyone for your input and the links to other threads have also been very helpful. Now I just need to find a shop that wants to do it and can do it well.

I found one here in Austin but it's a bunch of kids with junky, ricey looking contraptions... There is no way they are touching my car.

1. Sand edges and seams completely
2. Wash all surfaces to be painted thoroughly with TSP in warm water and scotcbrite pads
3. Sand surfaces to be painted with 320 wet dry sandpaper - at this point, you should have a dull scratched appearance.
4. Clean surface and all edges with either Dupont 2319S or Sherwin Williams R7K157 or R7K158 or equivalent.
5. Fill all imperfections. if applicable with a flexible putty and sand smooth.
6. Apply adhesion promoter or equivalent Dupont #2322.
7. Note: Some painters prefer, after cleaning the surface, to apply Dupont "Variprime". let dry and scuff with a scothbrite pad and then apply basecoat/clearcoat.
8.Apply basecoat clearcoat following manufacture's recommendations for painting a flexible polyurethane plastic.

It also depends on which shop you go to. Honestly I've had this bumper painted as a favor and installed for $250 from a local shop. While they charge us $350 to paint and install it regularly. You guys should pay around $400-$600 if you're in a big city. Now from personal experience this bumper takes about 3 hours to install (just like our TS front).

Fiberglass bumpers takes us around 1-2hrs to install.

Edit: most bodyshop rates here are around $50-$75 an hour

Hey I was just wondering, where specifically is this shop located? I've been looking for a affordable body shop for awhile but 250 is just dead-on deal. 350 isn't all bad either. Please PM me or reply
