As the title state. Im torn between getting the seibon ts hood or just buy an oem replacement..I got in an accident b4 the winter season and i wrecked my hood bumper and a few other things

I can't decided weather to buy the carbon fiber hood or not my car is DG and i plan on painting my roof black.

Skip Seibon and get a Chargespeed CF Hood instead.

Hey ONEmike just read up on ur post. I happen to have the same set up (ts front, ts hood, kenstyle side & rear). These are some pics of mine although dont have my front painted yet, just put it on to see how it looks. Hope it helps making your decision!...I would say it all depends on the look you're looking for which is a clean aggressive look, and that's the same that I went for! So far..I like it!

On the Seibon..I would say they don't use a high quality clear coat. I live in Florida and my hood is now yellowish. I have to get it recleared now, so just be aware of this before going w/ the seibon.

How much did it cost you to re-cleared your CF Hood?

Well Im not quite sure since I got an estimate all together to paint my front, reclear hood, repaint my sides and rear...for $800. Im not sure if others here think that's a good estimate, but I think its pretty fair considering my bumper is urethane, so i assume it takes some more prep work than fiberglass. Also, the guy is not only reclearing my hood but he mentioned he can paint it with a black pearl so the hood can look darker matching the car better, but still being able to see the carbon fiber. He left that option to me, if not he said he can at least reclear it w/ a higher quality uv protectant clear, at least something definitely much better than whatever Seibon uses!

OneMike, reclearing it right out of the box is a sure way to go! Plus you'll have a shinier look to your hood! Good luck!
