Pic Request:OEM bumper with cut out

I know everyone is going to flame me for this but I have a greddy front mount and want to know if anyone just cut a whole in the center of their oem front bumper for it......the only reasons i'm doing this is A. because the bumper is already cracked in three places and I plan on getting a new TS bumper "eventually" and also B. its for performance reasons I know its going to look tacky but just want to know how tacky.....oh I know theres a picture of a guy who did custom work to a OEM front bumper but I just want a picture of a sawed out one

do it and take pics. Unless the cuts are perfectly straight, it will look like junk

How are you going to mold in an intake opening within the OEM bumper? If you're just going to cut it out and leave, it's going to look awful!

I was just looking at my car with the dremel in my hand and I was thinking "take a huge square out of your 07 front bumper or not"....the only reason i'm inclined to this is for performance and the fact that the hinges that connect to where the hood meets the front bumper is snapped but I hate heat soaking and want to get the new front bumper after wheels and gauges but looking for a quick solution...or I could roll around with no bumper....

Here is a scaled down version of the above picture:

Here is another:

I think if you just cut it out it will look terrible. I think they do that to Honda Civics.

Seriously though, look at all the material between the IC and the front of the bumper - that will be all open space and most likely won't look pretty at all.

It is going to look unfinished and pretty rough with just cut edges but if you are getting a new one why the hell not

I was going to start a thread about this, but there was a guy with a white coupe that cut 2 circles in the front bumper, and it didn't look half bad.

I have been unable to find the pic though....

Curious, how do you know you are heat soaking? If you were, you'd be getting uncontrollable knock...

Have you tuned and logged IAT? Was your tuner concerned during the dyno runs with knock?

Well it's obvious that with an intercooler that is 80% covered will result in my car not staying as cool as if I had a huge square sawed out...and I'm not worried about knocking I just want peak performance.....
