Modified aero bumper?

has anyone tried adding mesh to the grills in their aero front bumper to look more like the 05-06 bumpers? If anyone has, got any pics?? I feel like the mesh would look much better than the horizontal lines.

I'm also looking at a way to do. I got a modified aero bumper from a member on here who had cut the grills and front plate bracket off. I need some mesh that'll look stock and some way of doing it.

Back when I had one I cut the ducts out of mine to clear my IC and added mesh.

Yeah the IC was the only reason for the mod.

Just to compare here is the "before". This is with the Stillen heat exchanger not the big IC.

I need to know how you did that ttrank. It looks clean, only thing I want is thicker mesh.

You can use any mesh you like. I got mine online and went for the most airflow possible.

I cut out the ducts right along the paint line and put the mesh on. That's it. Most people use the stick on clips to mount the mesh. I used fiberglass because I had it sitting around.
