Non HID VS HID; PIC request

Just wondering if anyone had side by side pics of non-hid and hid headlights. Mine got busted in a fender bender and im thinking of maybe using the $$ for other mods and roll with PIAA xenon filled halogen bulbs for a while, prob till I run across a good deal on some used modded lights or something. PIAA claims their bulbs to be pretty close if not identical to HID. So if you have pics post them, any opinions are also welcome. Thanks

The price of the housings should be nearly the same between a halogen and HID headlight, and you reuse your stock bulbs and ballasts so I don't really see the point

What do the price of the bulbs have to do with anything?

I have the bulbs from my old headlight. Its the housing that has 2 broken tabs thats an issue. Used HID housings are a few hundred. I already have a pair of non-hid headlights that im thinking of using meanwhile till I find something good. Like I know a few months ago someone was selling a pair in great shape that was done by clearcorners for $700, thats the type of deal I wanna wait to find. But men while I still want some decent white low beams.

maybe you should have explained your situation beforehand. Why do you already have nonhid headlights anyways?

I bought a pair of brand new headlights (non-hid) off of ebay w the black bezel, w intentions of cracking them open to replace the bezel on my HID's and replace the lenses while I was at it. But I never worked up the nerve to put my HID's in the oven to open them up and do the swap.

They can sell them for whatever price they want because its 100% profit on the recalled headlights
