Home Depot sells CustomAuto MESH for $5.

I posted this on my350 while driver was down I just thought I'd share with you guys in case some of you are thinking bout customautomesh. For some reason me and Home Depot just get along, I'm very close to rocking a HD sticker on my ride. I already did the bumper strip thanks to them, (https://g35driver.com/forums/interior-exterior/189994-make-custom-carbon-fiber-rubber-splitter-your-aftermarket-bumpers.html) now I've got this done. I'm just gonna copy and paste what I have over in my350, here's the link to that original thread over there as well.

Wanted to post just in case some of you are thinking about forking out around $50 for a precut piece of mesh from CustomAutoMesh.com. Home Depot has it, and it comes in Flat Black, It's called Gutter Guard if I remember correctly and should be in the gutter aisle. It comes in a pretty big roll so you can custom cut all you want with scissors.
I bought a huge roll from Home Depot for only $5 and after spraying it with gloss black spraypaint this is how it came out. I just finished this project today.

No difference really, except the huge price gap!
anyway if any of you guys need some drive over to the big orange and grab some

yeah, when i got my mesh from customautomesh.com, i was quite disappointed when i saw it, especially for the prices they were selling it for. And the "hardware" kit that they sell is a complete joke. Its a wire hanger, cut into pieces, and they tell YOU to buy the epoxy to put them on.

NO DIC3, yea man thats why I posted this so people don't have to get or feel ripped off like you probably do, also just the fact that you can get basically the same thing for a fraction of the price just may come in handy

looks exactly like the automesh that I used on the grille on the thread link. Good job posting for those looking for mesh.

I think I'll replace the mesh in the lower part of the bumper now. Thanks

While I do think the price for CustomAutoMesh is a bit ridiculous, I will say that the quality does look a lot better. It's a lot cleaner. However, HD mesh is much cheaper, and I would probably opt for that, too.

It's not chicken wire. But at the same time it is not nearly as clean as CustomAutoMesh.
