Lowered my car, and dislike bumper scrapes as you all do so I went to Home Depot and got a rubber garage door strip I cut it, and used 3M tape to stick it on. There is a few different ways to do this I've seen a few other cars with something similar, but I did it my way. Pics below.
UPDATED PICTURES FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN THIS MOD
this is what you buy at home depot, it's a garage door liner that goes on the bottom of your garage door to soften the hit when your garage door hits the floor, so if you can't find it in the garage accessories section, ask a HD employee, the packaging might look a little bit different for you Americans

THIS TAPE IN THE FOLLOWING 2 PICTURES IS NOT THE ONE YOU USE< IT"S TOO THIN, LOOK A FEW PICTURES BELOW AND YOU FIND THE FATTER TAPE YOU NEED, these pictures are just meant to show you how to install it onto the surface

this is the tape you buy at Lordco or Napa

And this is how you install it onto the bumper

few close up pictures here

you can also paint it

you can reverse install it for a thinner cleaner look as well

yea man, I guess that was the secondary +... I just wanted scraping protection. The CF pieces I got coming are for looks.. although it's gonna suck when I put them on and scrape the shiat outta them, I hope they last me a few months at least...

Hey Adon,
Does that rubber splitter provide any protection for the bumper tho? seems kinda small and doesnt go back enough. But I gotta say the new pictures are making me become more interested in this mod..
Anyone do this on a kuruma Z bumper yet?

^ oh dude, it sticks out about an inch as you can see, but it's actually longer underneath the bumper, so yea the bumper is definitely protected. So aside from what you see it still covers about an inch and a half of the underbody of the bumper
