yea in my original post I included 2 CF splitters I bought from Ebay. They fit on the right and left edge of the bumper, I tried them and they didn't look good and I didnt want to drill holes in my bumper. So I just scrapped the CF pieces all together and the strip looks just fine.

phatice yea after you glue the strip on just use scissors to cut at your desired angle

thechronic yea I had it on my original post since that was my project at the time, but I scrapped the CF splitters and just left it the way it is. I just updated my original post and took the pictures of the splitters off, they were some random ebay splitters that are universal, they looked something like this

so should i be using more than just 3m double sided tape? a lil worried about it coming off from random scraping on driveways.

you seen the pictures on my first page? the snow and ice ? well the 3M tape from Lordco I bought is still holding up really well. In my opinion 3M tape is all you need, I've scraped and snowplowed snow and it's still on.

yea man it should work fine for any bumper I think. But the Nismo front naturally had an inch wide design on the bottom which was just perfect for this strip.

I updated pics of how the strip should be applied as well on the first page as well.

I'll take some pix this weekend.

The only thing I did diff is cut the corners with little more angle to make it flow more with the bumper.

Looks good on the side and front

Wow...This is one best DIY thread ever.

You have made Nismo front bumper looks better.

Is DIY Homedepot side skirts coming?

The weather finally cleared up enough to do this to my bumper..

Just got the Kuruma Z bumper a few weeks ago.. IMHO it was missing some black at the bottom.. My previous bumper was the factory 3-piece aero kit which had a black outline between the bumper and lip..

Anyways, pretty easy job.. Had to adjust it a few times because the 3M tape was showing too much.. Definitely try to get black (I could only find gray).. and if its too thick attach it a little further back if you want to keep it flush w/ the bumper.. Im still debating if I want to trim it like everyone else has been doing..
