I'll call up HD headquarters see what they can do for us. Item is like $20 I think group buy price could push it down to around $10..... that's off course if we have 50 or more people on the list to buy.

^ no man, it's the rubber one, flexible like regular rubber, but it's really tough because it is meant to be on the bottom of garage doors. And garage doors slam to the ground constantly so it's made to be tough.

heh, nah man trust me the thing is solid, and flexible at the same time. Just buy a pack and feel it with your bare hands. Combined with the sticky 3m double sided tape, that thing ain't movin nowhere. You can see on the first page it survived winter being a snow plow and sagged only a little bit. I've scraped numerous times and it didn't even budge, on top of that it took all the impact saving my bumper from cracking and scratches which is the whole point of this mod, function first and the fact that looks good is a welcome second

^ sweeeeeeeeeet.... you can even paint it gloss black so it can blend in with your bumper. Looks awesome man.... hey by the way, did you do the rewiring for your hyper blinking issue yet ?
I'm heading over to my buddys house to help him do one of these strips and I'm gonna do what ivory gt suggested and connect the two black wires, see if that solves it.

i thought about painting it, but since this sealer is rubber and flexible, i'm scared it'll crack after a few scrapes, so i'm just going to leave it as it is. about the headlights, i haven't done it yet, i asked around a few shops and they want like $175 just to rewire it, so i'm kinda hesitant at the moment, let me know how yours work out and post up a diy

Nice mod. Looks really nice. It's just as effective as the mod the 350z owners do by using the chrome door edge protector from walmart and applying it to the plastic edges on their grill.

Are you guys finding the 3M tape at Home Depot also? I have this material lining the bottom of my garage doors, go figure I want to try this with my sedan with the Nismo bumper.
