i installed my ravspec nismo diffuser and the hks hi power. the tips on the exhaust touch the carbon fiber diffuser. i drove around for a while and the diffuser was warm but wasnt extremly hot. i dont know if i should adjust my exhaust or not. will my exhasut touching the diffuser cause problems or melt the cf and cause fire . the tips on the exhaust were really hot. i might find some firesafe material to slide between the tips and diffuser

the clearcoat will burn off and then your carbon will turn brown.

I'd keep a distance or at least create a shield.

i was thinking about putting a piece fire safe material. like welders fire blanket between the gap. its not touching but its like 2 mm from touching. i tried adjusting tips. not working. i dont want to mess with hangers but i might have to.

dont ruin your diffuser!

 

98intrigue runs a diffuser with HKS exhaust...pretty sure he had to adjust the hangers though
