i have my OEM grill painted flat black right now but i wanna go back to the stock color (05 coupe) i dont know if that makes a difference...

im sure the grill is painted right? does anyone know the paint code if there even is one?

if not looks like im stuck buying a new OEM grill

i have a stock 04 OEM grill

 

is it the same color as 05? i ask because i know with the 04 and 05 sedans the grill color is different... but that maybe cuz a complete new exterior change in 05 but i just wannabe sure

I believe they are all the same color. They are not painted however. I think the finish on the grille is a process similar or the same as chrome plating on plastic.

I have a few spots where its nicked, and it doesn't appear to be paint or painted.

You can probably buy a new one from the dealer for around $100.

Its chrome not paint.. there was a thread when the 05s came out that the grills were a little darker but it looks the same IMO

All OEM grilles for the Coupe are the same.

The OEM coupe grilles has a light black chrome finish.

Speaking of grille colors...

The grille on the '05+ sedans looks awesome. It literally looks like black chrome, and has thicker bars as opposed to the coupe. I wish our coupe grille looked like that . I'm thinking of painting my grille another color, as I'm getting tired of the black grille.
