G35 Hitch Pic Request!
Hi,
I got us G&Z owners 15% off of hitches for tire trailers....read on...
I'm looking for pictures the G35 rear bumper beam. The aluminum bumper beam that the CURT MFG hitch mounts too.
Every website I have been to has it all screwed up on which hitch fits what model G or Z.
see the attachments below and please see the attached pic's of bumper beam and note:
YEAR:
MAKE: G OR Z
TRIM LEVEL: BASE, TOURING, ETC IF APPLICABLE.
after going through purchasing the wrong hitch for my Z based on U-haul's web site for an 04Z is 11483 (247483) -- WRONG its really 11493 but curt mfg as admitted they have not checked every year make/model.
I spoke with curt mfg design Engr to confirm this.
They did however give me a good reliable source:
www.hitchsource.com
Name: Joe
who is giving G and Z owners 15% off of a hitch purchased using the coupon code (350z).
see his site and his kind words he added on his site for me:
http://www.hitchsource.com/nissan350...i-p-27988.html
also see this thread and the thread link on this thread that started it all:
http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=352435
my gut is telling me that the 11483 is G35 only
and the 11493 is Z only...
please help me figure this out.......so far its already gained us all 15% off and next day shipping as i received my package next day from JOE at hitchsource.com

Everyone always dogs the hitch, but it use it to bring my road bike with me on the weekends. It's the best. I have posted pics before, I think I included one from under the bumber.
For those looking to get this to put a bike rack on I say do.. You won't be disappointed. Plus the only time anyone notices that I have a hitch back there is when I have the bike rack on.

Curt Hitch
I put one on the forward side of the bumper of my 08 G37.
I bought the Curt Hitch that is sold for the g35 sedan and cut off the arm piece that bolts to the tow hook on the G35, (not present on the coupe). I put it on the forward side of the bumper as opposed to the rear so that I did not have to cut the fascia. It's primarily for a bike rack but maybe a small trailer occasionally.
I did it this morning in about 3 hours, 4 if you include the cutting. Sorry I did not take photos.
does anyone know a constant on power wire in trunk that is not connected to the taillight circuit? I
