Horrible paint
My paint is probably the worst i've ever seen, it has swirl marks out the *** and looks lighter in some spots. Not to mention the numerous scratches that i find EVERY time i clean my car. Will Infiniti do anything about this and if they won't, how much will a new paint job, with the color of my choice, cost?
delete this thread right now.
if you paint it other than black, your looking at 7-8 grand.
remember, you have to remove EVERY panel, including the motor, to change the color.
my paints the same way. with a professional detail, itll look good as new.

Steve, it all depends on how you clean your car. Improper preparation and ignorant washing and scrubbing is usually the main cause of swirls.
The dealership won't do anything about it because it's not their fault. If it was, what evidence do you have to prove it?
Only thing you can do is get a good buffer and a polish and remove the swirls.
If I had the time, I'd help you out. But, right now I'm slammed with tests and finals.
When I get done with my tests, I already have two people waiting for me to wash, clay, and wax their cars.
If I have the time, I'll help you get the swirls out.
