DIY tint or just stop being cheap?

I was reading up on snaptint.com and it seems pretty easy...but who knows, I've never done this before...but I am a do-it-yourselfer. Some ATL owners chime in, I was quoted 250 for window tint in the downtown area...snaptint is 85 dollars and they have a warranty where it will cost 9.95 per window if something happens in the future.

You are driving an Infiniti and you want to go cheap by doing tint yourself...come on now...practice on a winter beater or something before trying it out on your nice car.

Wow! I'm all for DIY (do it yourself) but come on.. Just take it to a pro.

Heres whats going to happen.

Your going to spend your money on this snap it crap.. **** it up, then take it to a real tint shop and pay the money anyway.. Get some nice tint but find that your actually down 85 extra dollars.

haha.

your gut told you not to, yet you still went for it.

you've just wasted 85$. you gotta heat shrink the biotch. You think you can do that well?

woulda been better not to have any tint at all, and just buy the spoiler.

Tint is not soemthing that you just "give it a shot at". It takes tinters a while to get good at what they do. Thats why they can make a living at doing tint alone simply because its not something everybody can do. Any speck of dirt, dust, whatever, is going to show up in the tint. Not to mention be prepared for a lot of frustration trying to get bubbles out.
