ok so ive been to clearcorners.com and i like their new taillight conv..but i want to do something similar but only i want to have the turnsignals on all the time like our leds are but i also want them to be used as brakes and still retain the turn signal function obviously, so my ? to all you electrical guru's out there is can you figure out how to splice or re-route the wires so i can make this happen, i would just send mine out to clearcorners but i dont want to pay like 2000 and loose some of my leds like the ones that are next to the brake light, i love our taillights but i just want to have the turn signal on. sorry this is long but like all of us i just want to be diff.

 

you can have clearcorners do whatever you want to the lights... if you just want that turn signal mod then tell them thats all you want do... im sure they will work with you

 

It can be done, but I do not think you can do it by just splicing wires. You have to isolate the different systems (brake, turn, park). It is possible to make a control board to do this. Are you wanting the turn signal area to be LED's also? That's another degree of complexity but also possible. Wait a little bit and there may be an alternative to clearcorners.com, see post #44

naw it can still be a bulb its not a big deal to be led's just want to be a lil diff without going to crazy.

 

you can wire up a 7443 bulb there so it will be lit up like a sidemarker and still be a turn signal as well.
