ARGGGH - Rattle/Squeak is driving me insane!

Hi all,

I have a rattle/squeak from the roof that is driving me insane! It comes from all around the sunroof (yes, I have read and preformed the TSB for a squeak) - it is more of a rattle like something loose. It is getting worse every day.

Here is my plan - I am gonna pull off the liner and see if I can find what is loose, but it would help if I knew the details of how to pull one off - does anyone have a link for the process? For instance, do the A pillar covers have to come off?

Thanks,

Joe

Get those foam stick on roll of insulation from home depot and take the interior apart. Kinda like this stuff insulation tape. Then stick this crap everywhere between panels. Works great

Hmmm, I will do that when I put it back together - unfortunately, this doesn't sound like panels.... although i do have some panel squeak as well. Do you know of a site that shows removal of the headliner?

Thanks,

Joe

I will want to know how to drop the headliner as well, it seems that a bit of tightening and sound deadening on the top roof will help with the rattles

I have about 6 different rattles in my car too.. I'm about to pull my hair out.

The sagging glove box rattle is the worst one.

This should help with the tricky bits, removing the headliner is easy after you get all the panels out

btw those instructions weren't done by me, i found em on driver a while back.

THey are very nice instructions - thank you! I have somehow managed to get the side panel out without removing the back seat - dunno if I can put it back in though :-)

I give up - it is going to the stealership as soon as I can get it there - on the upside I will have to drive my 240Z while it is there.
