Only took 6 months to get!?!?!?
Ok, so I ordered a Gialla front lip mid/late January, and it shows up at my door today. Something about not stocking the lips and hand making them?
Either way, I'm thrilled and now need advise!
I'm looking for a bang up body shop (aka a really good body shop) in the Atlanta and/or Douglasville areas (or the surrounding areas of either-or-both of the previous mentioned).
I want the body shop to meet my standards:
1.) Match the OEM paint, but MATCH to where my OEM paint is today - ie, meaning my oem paint is not straight out of the factory anymore, it has some fade to it. I don't want the bright SILVER and the slightly duller silver edges meeting and sticking out like a "sore thumb". (I have Brilliant Silver btw).
2.) Install the body kit pieces cleanly. (ie, not scratching and buffing up the new paint or the existing paint.
3.) Charge me a FAIR price - I know body work isn't cheap and for quality work, I expect to pay for, but at the same time, don't need to be taken for a sucker.
4.) Will stand up for their work - ie, if there are any issues that I may have with the looks of the paint and/or the piece thats installed, they will work towards getting it as close to "Perfect" as they can before I pay up and drive away.
Any referrals?
Thanks in advance Guys!
P.s. Oh, all of the pieces I need painted/installed:
1.) Genuine NISMO S-Tune Side Diffusers (Approns)
2.) Genuine NISMO S-Tune Rear Diffuser
3.) Genuine Gialla Front Lip
4.) *Coming soon - Genuine Gialla Front Grille
Thanks!!

I've found some of the smaller shops are the better ones. I took my car to a shop in the ghetto, that had only really dealed with OEM repairs and parts. They made me prefit the kit (no big deal) because they wanted it to fit like OEM (all mine was authentic, so it fit like a glove). They took about a week, but they did everything flawlessly and I still get asked where I got my kit painted!
So sometimes the big names aren't the best (often times they are too busy to spend the time you want them to on your car)... just ask around at your local car meets, yellow pages, etc. And congrats on your kit, +1000000 for getting the real deal!

Well so far I've got great advise from you guys and over on G35frenzy for (local) shops.
I went ahead and "fitted" (not to be confused with installed) the Gialla lip over a spare bumper I have - just to see how it looks and I must say I personally feel it's the best looking front for our coupes w/ NISMO S-Tune coming in a close (not too close!) second!!!!

And as a side note - doing anything other than installing and painting to this JDM piece would defeat the purpose (in a sense). In other words, I like it as-is, and modifying would only "take away" from the piece - since it's bad @ss to begin with and somewhat hard to get a hold of....(hope that makes sense?)
Some guy on here did that to his Ings+1 kit and I think it totally kills the looks - just doesn't look right (molding).

^ Red, I think (can't recall but have some lingering memory) we've always agreed to disagree on other topics with this coupe. I think the same plays out here. Like you said, to each his own.
I do agree the the lip is fat, but that's what I LOVE about it. It adds some "bulk" and adds an 'extending' lip on the bottom front.
I do not plan on running OEM sides with this lip so no worries there! - More updates to come!!!
Thanks Guys!
