I have searched this forum throughout. I have found many pics of this custom modification, but have been unable to find a pic of a headlight that is totally painted black on the housing of the light. I have seen many taped off where the HID and bright lamps are. I was curious if it made the lights less bright or if it mattered? Has anyone done this? I want to paint the entire fixture black. The body shop will be matching the paint, and they will clearcoat the inside of the fixture, then sand, buff and clearcoat the outside of the plastic housing. I was just wondering if i should do it all black...or leave the (tubes) stock where the light shines...lemme know your opinions...and maybe show me a pic if you got one...
