05 G35 coupe..need door handle diagrams...hinge came off
So i just purchased a 2005 g35 coupe and about 200 miles in the damn door handle pull off...well not quite. turns out the Dent people didnt put it back right.
if pulling on the driverside handle, the left side which only is susposed to pivit, pulls out about an inch.. possibly something is broken or maybe unscrewed..
anyone have the installtion guide?? thanks much

Were you able to fix this? Did you just have to remove the exterior handle part or did you have to remove the whole door assembly to get inside?
A similar thing just happened to my 03 Coupe after I dropped it off at the detailer but the pivot side only sticks out a half inch. I'm concerned that the crazy rain we're supposed to get on the east coast will get inside.
Thanks.

Was able to find another thread about the same problem. Thread title doesn't mention the problem so it took some time to find the correct search phrase.

Basically you just need to remove the door finisher, interior panel and window. The door handle didn't need to be replaced in my case.
The exterior part of the handle needs to be reseated into the interior part. It was probably forcefully pulled from the front of the handle rather than the rear.
Not terribly difficult to fix but I'm having a bit of a difficult time reseating the window properly. i thought I had it right but I drove in the rain yesterday and some rain was dripping in. Any tips would be helpful.
