06 sport bumper vs. regular bumper - whats the diff

Anyone know the difference between the 2006 standard front bumper vs sport package bumper? I dont know what one I have.

I bought a lip on e-bay that said it was for 03-06. I went to install int on my 2006 G35 coupe and it does not fit, too short on the sides. I was replacing a KBD bumper lip that came from JC Whitney and it fit perfectly. I need to replace it after my wife hit a ground hog and ripped it off.

the sport bumper has much more flair the regular bumper is just round, no flares... just boring

6MT Coupe
Too hard to descibe the differences, but easy way to know is what tranny you have and some other obvious things on the coupe.
2006 with 5AT = non sport
2006 with 6MT, 19" wheels, orange steering wheel stitching = sport.

not many available for the sport bumpers, but you should check out the Illusion (data system replica) made by forum member EricIsKlumzyee:

Your front end needs a lot of help. The Billet grille looks awful (especially with the OEM bumper grilles) on G's.

eric gets the lip from kbd so esentially it'd be the same thing. i'd get it from jc whitney if that is who you got it from initially. the kbd part should be on the bottom of your old lip (usually a 4 digit number) just use that part number to order it.

if you want something different, i think vertex makes a lip for the sport bumper now.
