Does anybody know how much a paintjob will cost (painting the whole car) in SOCAL?

 

depends where you go. i think you can get a 1 day paint job for like 300 bucks

 

$300??? i was thinking more like $3000 redoing the whole car my current color is DG but wanna go IP with OB black top

 

i wanna know where this $300 place is? is it in SOCAL? Is it reliable?

 

www.airheadkustoms.com - Tony of Riverside Infiniti has his Z in there (lookin really good) and I'll be taking my G there after GTM gets done with it. Jason (owner/painter) is an awesome guy. Check his customer pic's out. Beautiful wide body G he did some custom paintwork for (Red and black G with a wide body kit). I saw that car at GTM later the same day and it looked just as good in person.

my car was ip and i got the whole car repainted ip - just the outside only.. so it wasnt a complete color change.. but with my dent fixed and my new bodykit put on it was 2700 or 2800 in san gabriel.

its the same paint shop that eric/klumyzee recommends.

they did a great job.

to do a color change including all the jams and the engine bay you are looking at $5-7k for a GOOD paint job or I can promise your car will look like crap

 

yea...airhead quoted me a ballpark $5500 for everything but the firewall and other stuff in the engine compartment

 

So glad I love TB. I couldnt imagine changing the color .... well, except once way back when I wish I had IP for some great looking Mag. Blue GT-S's but that quickly passed.

 

i like my color right now, but ive always been in love with dolphin grey audi's so i want to paint it but im not sure if im ready to take the plunge that soon

 

i wouldnt for a color change. I'm only adding a few pieces, a few touch-ups and reclearing for the glassy finish to try and enhance the TB. Its a damn fun car and I dont mind keeping it for awhile longer to enjoy the newly added benefits.
