Ran through several different brands of LED license plate lights and then always burnt out on me. Eventually went w/ a 12" CCFL tube, which is way brighter and lasts much longer...and cheap! No regrets going w/ CCFL
Does anyone know about the autoillumination.com LEDS? http://autolumination.com/194.htm I am leaning towards VLED's or these ones.

I just put these in about a month ago, so I can't say how reliable they'll be. But they are so damn bright, and so damn white...
