replica body kits...opinions

so the vender here on the g35driver has replica nismo front bumpers but i was wondering what would the downsides of these be? they guarantee fitment also and what is the difference between the materials...poly, vfiber urethane or FLASTIC FRP composite, or fiberglass?

do they have the full front bumper or just the lip? this site says the nismo g35 kit is a lip kit.

to answer your question, I think FRP material is pretty economical. it's cheaper, fairly strong if made right, and easy to fix if you crack it.

Nothing wrong with replicas at all as long as you know what you are doing. Some of them like the polyurethane Nismo front are even better than the authentic which only comes in glass. Research your vendors thoroughly, read buyer experiences, and look around for a reputable shop with proven workmanship.

You only run into trouble when you start buying the $100 eBay specials from some kids basement. Looking into the marketplace section for reputable vendors would be a good starting point.
