Frozen Windshield and Rear Window issues

I guess this question is directed at those who drive in near zero temperatures for a good part of the year:

Is it normal for not only the outside, but the inside of my Windshield and Rear Window to freeze? I have never had this happen with any of my previous cars. I was in it for about 40 minutes the previous night with the defroster on. There was no spillage of any sort inside the vehicle. Is there a seal issue? The driver and passenger windows did not freeze. The entire rear window froze. Only about 10 inches of the passenger side of the windshield froze.

Please advise!

I drive mine all last winter and didn't have that problem. Granted, the defroster is literally the worst on any car I have driven on both the front and rear windshield. I'd get it checked out.

Regards,
Chris

^ Exactly my thoughts on how slow the defrosters work. Even the rear defroster in my '98 Corolla is 10X better than the G35
