Bumper scratches - cost to repair

The owner of the 05 6MT I'm looking at says it has a fair amount of scratches from parking on the rear bumper. He said none were deep though. Anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to get something like that fixed and looking good again? Thanks!

I never understood how that happens.... but without seeing them, there is no valid answer for that question...

You could prally get a bodyshop to touch it up for free... or if it needs to be repainted all over, it will prally run you between $250-500... depending on the "scratches"...

If it won' buff out, then worse case scenario is repaint the bumper. I had that done for $500 when someone keyed my bumper.

If the scratches are too deep and into the plastic it may need to be filled and re-painted. I would guess $300-500 depending on the quantity and severity of them.

Thanks for the advice, I guess I better save my money for that kind of repair, just bought the car today. It is running awesome, except for some scratches - very common for a city car, in this case Chicago.
