I have a lot of stone chips on my front bumper and was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of cost to expect to get it repainted. It is just the factory front bumper and it won't need any additional work beyond the paint. I have called a few places and they won't give me a ballpark over the phone so I was wondering what some of you have paid for this. Thanks!

 

probably like 300-400 to repaint the whole bumper, urethane bumpers are usually more a pain to paint, make sure the shops that re paint it are use to painting urethane pieces, you can also ask if they have the stone guards for your bumper so you can have your paint job lasting longer as well

 

i have gotten quoted from 400-1000 for my bumper.. i think the 1000 is crazy.. but it should be around 400 or maybe a little more since they have to sand of the existing pain

it has hella rock chips and spider webbing on the right side due to a little accident

 

I got mine done for $300. Looks really good. Color's a little off, but I'm told thats normal.

 

That's what ****ty painters say..LOL Some colors are harder to match but a good painter should be able to match it..

 

Yeah the guys were professionals, but they said they tried 3 times to match the color and that was the best they could do. IP is hard to match. Considering I only paid $300 for the whole bumper and it really isnt that noticable, I'll live with it. Besides, most Gs I've seen, the rear bumper is a little darker than the rest of the body. And thats with stock paint. Don't beleive me? Go outside and look right now.
